So this food court location is inside ATB Place/Telus Place building complex and while I had a pretty standard yaki udon dish, I was extra pleased with the option of adding so many excellent sauces on my meal. It's nothing fancy, but it definitely hits the spot to have such Japanese stirfry in a food court.

I had the worst service last night (June 18, 2009) at Mount Fuji Teppanyaki, 100-10020 100 Street Nw, Edmonton, in the strip mall with Henry's and Shoppers Drug Mart.
This is the worst dining experience I have had in years. I know it is all you can eat, so we did not go with extremely high expectations. First we arrived at 7pm and the sign on the door said open 5-9 pm. The door was locked and the open sign was not on, but my boyfriend swore it was on earlier when we had driven by. I looked in the window to see if they were closed down, since I have never seen anyone going in or out. I saw people seated and staff moving. The waitress saw me and came up and unlocked the door. I thought she would say sorry, we didn't know it was locked or something similar, but she just relocked it behind us!! No mention of any reason for not wanting customers. There was an odd smell near the entrance that I think may have been the pond and my boyfriend thinks may have been the waitress, but I didn't notice at the table. There were four other tables already eating, one chef up front, and two waitresses. We were seated for almost five minutes before our waitress came to take our drink order. We ordered pop and water and she gave us the all you can eat form at the same time. My boyfriend needed to take some medication before eating we waited another 5 minutes for pop and didn't get the water until I asked for it again about 20 minutes later. Water refills only came when we could flag her down. She did not pick up the all you can eat form when she dropped off our drinks even though it was sitting at the edge of the table filled out and ready. After standing around by the chef station for a bit she finally took the order. Then we waited 15 minutes for our first item, the sunomono. The miso took another 10 minutes and was cold. The first maki we got seemed to have been made the day before or that morning maybe. It took an hour and a half to get our first (and only) order, and we never did get the cones or the dumplings. I don't expect Vancouver quality from an all you can eat, but I have had better sushi from Tokyo Express or Safeway.
The quality was poor and the attitude was worse. They got no tip, which I never do. Apparently they don't want customers, judging from the locked door. We will never go back and certainly won't be recommending it.
